ITINERARY
VININCUNCA MOUNTAIN
Pick up from hotel at 4.30 am
We will start our tour to the Rainbow Mountain in Vinicunca picking you up from your hotel at 04:30 am and then head towards the southern part of Cusco.
Cusipata town &Paucarpata town
We will head towards the town of Cusipata and after passing through interesting valleys and seeing some beautiful small lakes we will arrive to the town of Paucarpata, where we will stop to enjoy a delicious and nutritious breakfast.
Qomer Qocha
After breakfast we will continue the trek to Qomer Qocha site where all the cars are parked, and buses from that place we will start our hike to the exciting rainbow mountain.
Rainbown Mountain in vinincunca
The hike lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour at a moderate pace, on the route you can gradually appreciate the constant change in the color of the mountains that surround the road until you reach the viewpoint of the Rainbow Mountain in Vinincunca from where you can appreciate the great mountain range of the Vilcanota and its full variety of colors that resembles the Rainbow.
After the visit we will start with the descent to Qomer Qocha site to take our taxi tour back to Cusco making a stop before in Paucarpata to have lunch.
Ending tour around 17.30pm
Taxi tour ends in the city of Cusco around 17:00 to 17:30 hrs.
